TIMING, VALUE & DECISION MAKING: Buying or selling a home is often the single greatest investment we make. We discuss needs, we research, we plan, we prepare, we discuss some more, and then we ultimately jump in and go through a process that will involve the transfer of hundreds of thousands of dollars. In all of this we make tough decisions about timing, housing inventory, market trends, school systems, commuting issues, neighborhoods, interest rates, aesthetics, and yes…price. For many years we've watched as home prices have gone up and up and up. Now that they are leveling off, when is the right time to take advantage of that?
